Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jake Folkertsma of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 87, on July 16, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rein Folkertsma and Jaitske Folkertsma; and his son Jack Folkertsma (Rorie). He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmina Folkertsma (Boertjes); his children, Janet Natoli (Michael), Virginia, Helen Dussault (Pierre), Richard of Ontario and Rayna (John); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Alexander, Jeremy, Ashley, Danielle, Taylor, Kylie, Jacob, Mya and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Jackson, Connor, Lyla, Brody and Sierrah. He is also survived by three sisters in Holland and one sister.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission (Truro).
