He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempster Barbrick and Eva Barbrick (Nelson); his wife Hazel; his brothers, Nelson, Bruce and Allen; and his sister-in-law Marjorie.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (John), Arlene, Cynthia, Shelley (Ross), Becky (Brian) and George Jr. (Dale); his sister Lois Spares; and his sisters-in-law, Frances and Pearl. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
