She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Meuse and Elizabeth Meuse (Sack); her siblings, Linda Meuse, Philomena Meuse, William "Yogi" and Joseph "Junnie" Meuse; and her grandson Wyatt Ali Simon Nevin.

She is survived by: her husband Anthony Nevin; and her children, Simon Nevin, Heather McDonald (Jason McDonald) of Indian Brook, Shirley Nevin of Indian Brook and Elisa Nevin of Indian Brook. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Nevin Residence (20 Dowie Rd, Micmac, NS B0N1W0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church (509 Church St, Micmac, NS B0N1W0).
