It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ashley (Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia), born in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 20, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Vibert and Norah Vibert (Brothwell); her husband Oran; her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Isabel; and her sister Catherine MacKay.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Helen), Patty (Kenny), Harley (Trudy), Michael (Gaye), Isabel (John), Peter (Laureen) and Stephen "Charlie" (Rose). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Family flowers only but donations in her memory may be made to the Parish of Lantz, the Alzheimer's Society, Diabetes Canada or a charity of choice.
