He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacDonald and Eva MacDonald (Crawford); and his sisters, Florence Elliot (Ned), Bernice Manette and Marie Weatherbie (Lionel).
He is survived by: his wife Esther (Freckelton) of Cooks Brook; his children, Michelle of Middle Musquodoboit, Kevin (Natasha) of Airdrie, Alberta and Kelly (Shane) of Riverview, N. B; his grandchildren, Nolan, Vivian and Bronwyn; his brother Laurie (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Mannette, Shirley Freckelton and Marjorie Mattias (Keith). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
