With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Adeline Cook of Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Burns and Margaret Burns (Gale); her husband Leo "Bud" Cook; her great grandchild Leo Cook; her siblings, Kathleen Breen, Oswald, Allan and Fraser Burns; and her son-in-law Melvin Burns.

She is survived by: her children, Jo-Anne Burns, Debbie Cruickshank (Dennis Felix) and Buddy Cook (Cindy); her grandchildren, Trevor Cruickshank (April), Melissa Wyatt (Michael), Michelle McClain (Thomas), Justin Cruickshank (Shauna), Michael Burns (Jessica), Tanya Langille (Brian) and Robert Cook (Holly); her siblings, Ray Burns (Pearl), Harry Burns (Janette), Richard Burns (Kelly), Nan Kaiser, Peggy Stevens (Tim), Beverly Wilson (Dick) and Linda Arseneau (Peter); and her brother-in-law Joe Breen. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
