It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard MacGill Hayne (Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick (Ted) and Annie (Walsh); his son Rusty; and his siblings, Robert, Leonard, Ralph, Leo and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine (Jordan) of Smithfield; his children, Heather of Truro and Jeff (Gaile) of Glenelg; his grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) of St. Peter's, Elaina Smith (Jesse) of Airdrie and Todd (Amanda) of Fort McMurray; his great grandchildren, Anna (Annie), Kayla, Marley (Marla), Asher and Dawson; and his sister Sheila Veinotte (Melvin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gw Giffin Funeral Home (17545 NS-316, Cross Roads Country Harbour, NS B0H 1J0).
