She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barkhouse and Mary Barkhouse (McLellan); her husband Harry; her son Bayne; her children-in-law, Roma and Noel; and her siblings, Winsloe, Thomas, Basil, George, Edith, Lila, Freda, Alice, Nina and Sadie.
She is survived by: her children, MacKay (Audrey), MacPherson Mills, Angus (Darlene), Bernie North River (Jessie Lee), Catherine Levasseur of Lower Sackville and Marie Veinotte (Wayne) of Country Harbour; and her siblings, Norman Barkhouse of Port Dufferin, Jean Martin of Watt Section and Carmie Fleet of Dartmouth. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
