He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Manthorne and Theresa Manthorne (Sangster); his daughter Noreen; and his siblings, Milford, Colbourne, Jessie Pinkham, Gloria Riley and Leona Manthorne.
He is survived by: his wife Wyna (Webber); his children, Rodney (Norma), Port Bickerton, Calvert (Kim), Michelle Burke, London, Ont, Loretta Trealout (Mike), Main, Angela Pelley (Brian) and Seal Harbour; his grandchildren, Hughie (Allison), Devin, Jake, Donavon (Emily), April, Kyla, Janna (Hayden), Jody, Paige, Amanda (Chad), Clarisse (Jon) and Amy (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Cameron, Benjamin, Kade, Leah, Emma and Grace; and his siblings, Frank, Carl, Wade, James, June Hudson and Marie Kaiser. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
All COVID-19 restrictions will be followed including proof of full vaccination.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bursary in memory of Noreen Manthorne in care of St. Francis Xavier University School of Nursing.
