It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Butler of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Jordan Falls, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Weir and Lola Weir (Corkum); her husband Alfred (Buddy); and her siblings, Arlene, Marie, Inez and Lawrence.

She is survived by: her children, Joanne Acker (Bill), Brenda Stewart (Derrick) and Ricky; her sister Sylvia Neil; her grandchildren, John, Vikki, Jessica, Jonathon, Sandi and Sasha; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jemma, Joseph, Addison, Aurora, Axel, Camden and Ava; and her great great grandchild Jax.

In lieu of flowers donations in Vera's name may be made to the Nova Scotia Cancer Association or the St. Peters by the Sea church fund.
