She was predeceased by: her parents, Erland Cotter and Romayne Cotter (Swim); her son-in-law Steven Swansburg; her sister Sandra Quinlan; and also, Calvin and Edna Young (Weir).

She is survived by: her children, Judy Peterson (Duane), Trudy Young (Frank), Kevin Young (Loraine) and Alvin Jr.; her grandchildren, Jaimie Bond, Teri Doane (Jonathan) and Raeann Young; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Kollis, Savanah, Khori and Kalei; her siblings, Joan Holland (Jim), Nancy Cotter (David), Cathy Pyne (Mitch), Laurie Enslow (Gary), Lisa Potter (Rob), Al Cotter (Margaret), Ralph Cotter (Ellen) and Bobby (Alma); and her friend Carol Stoddard.

Memorial donations in Rose's name may be made to a charity of choice.
