It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Doane (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Doane and Marion Doane (Davis); his brothers, Lloyd and Clare; and his son Ancel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary McKenney; his stepdaughter Paula (Philip); his grandchildren, TJ and Trina (Jason); his great grandchildren, Alex (Alisha), Jonathan and Jennifer; and his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Chance, Tyson and Vanessa.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, the Cancer Society, or charity of choice.
