He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Mae George; his stepfather Maurice George Sr.; his sister Brenda Acker (Swansburg); and his daughter-in-law Anastasia Acker (Nimchuk). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jean Acker; his son Gordon Dwaine (Yarmouth); and his siblings, Barbara Buchanan (Irvin) and Maurice George Jr. (Elizabeth). He is also survived by brothers in law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Wayne's name to the VON Association.
