He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matthews and Sylvia Matthews (Saunders); his wife Gail; and his brother Doug. He is survived by: his children, Eddie (Wendy), Mark (Mariya), Madeline (Sidney), Alison and Heather; his grandchildren, Sarah (Jamie), Lynn, Cole, William and Chase; his nephew Bobby (Marjorie); his great-niece Jessica (Patrick); and also Seth.
