Evangeline Swaine Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangeline Swaine of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evangeline Swaine to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wellington Nickerson and Elsie Nickerson (Bower) of Port Clyde; her husband Kenneth; her son Tommy; her granddaughter Theresa; and her siblings, Gordon, Douglas, Lawrence "Buck", Allison, Jeanette, Dorothy, Frances and Louise.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry of Etobicoke, Marshall (Heather) of Port Clyde, Gail (Dean) of Centreville and Lisa (Mark) of Rocco Point; and her sisters, Thelma Swaine and Virginia Nickerson of Port Clyde. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating may be limited and social distancing guidelines must be followed (Immediate family will be given priority for seating).

Memorial donations may be made to the Port Clyde United Church or any charity of choice.
