He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Perry); his children, Amanda Doane Bower (Nick) and Shawn Nickerson (Fran); his grandchildren, Hayden Bower, Caleb Bower and Laya Nickerson; and his brother-in-law Gary McGregor.
