It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald George Bird of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his close friend Dale Lorraine Ryer; and his parents, George Alexander Bird and Ruth Audrey. He is survived by: his siblings, Gordon MacWilliam Bird (Jane) of Herring Cove, NS and Mary Elizabeth Corston (Jim) of Toronto; his stepdaughter Erin Gorsline (Michael) of Portland, OR; his granddaughter Renee Sinden Gorsline of Portland, OR; and his nieces and nephews, John, Sydney Corston and Dan Bird. He is also survived by his friends and family and cats.
