She was predeceased by: her parents, Forman Newell and Mildred Newell; her husband Sheldon Atkinson; her siblings, Herbert (Maureen), Irene (Addison) and Forman-Junior (Athelia-Living); and her son Arnold (Helen-Living).
She is survived by: her sister Millie (Maynard); her children, Jo-ann (Barry), Pamela (Freddi) and Paul; and her grandchildren, Troy (Lori), David, Corey, Jason (Leanne), Jonathan (Danielle), Deanna, Donald, Laken and Sheldon. She is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews, and Her Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
