With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Thompson (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 28, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Thompson and Cora Thompson (Horne). He is survived by: his spouse Marsa Thompson (Isenor); his daughters, Tarah Thompson-Schwan (Brent) of Yarmouth, NS and Tobi Boutilier (Len) of Kentville, NS; his grandchildren, Talia and Zoë; his siblings, Barbara MacAlpine (Don) and Bill Thompson (Rosalind); his aunts, Jean Pye and Rhoda Rogers; his nieces, Susan MacAlpine-Gillis (Paul), Jill Brogan (Sean) and Ann Thompson (Erik Larsen); and his nephew Jay Thompson (Jen).
