He was predeceased by: his parent Amos Myrick; and his brother Clayton. He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Myrick (Acker); his children, Nona (Mark), Jordan, Wanda (Tony), Liverpool and Chris of Shelburne; his grandchildren, Gregory (Malorie), Jordan, Nikita (Cody), Birchtown, Samantha (Matt), Chelsea, Alex (Hannah), Liverpool, Pat of Lockeport, Jared and Angela; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Octavia and Theo; his siblings, Ruth Acker and Bernard Myrick (Linda); and his former wife Donna Myrick (Hopkins).

Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
