It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Martha Newell of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Québec, Québec, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Burgess and Hilda Burgess (Mansbridge); and her husband William Newell. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Donna Atkinson and Linda Oikle; and her siblings, Bernice Burgess and Wally Burgess of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
