With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice Mabel Goodwin (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kenney and Kathleen Kenney (Shand); her husband Angus; and her siblings, Edith, Sarah, William, Phyllis, Ralston and Blanche.
She is survived by: her children, Earle (Linda), Karen (Edwin) and Wreyford (Dawn); her grandchildren, Dean Atkinson (Gail), Christy Allen Mullen (Corey), April Mullen (Craig), Benjamin Allen (Jessica), Steven Goodwin (Emily), Shaun Goodwin, Wreygan Goodwin (Summer), Wreynee Goodwin (James), Brandee Goodwin and Brydon Ryerson (Emily); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Levon, Elizabeth, Mya, Hadley, Quintin, Demetry, Liam, Kaylee, Violet, Weston, Sage, Sutten and Bryan; and her caregivers, Dawna, Doreen and Bayside.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home (2821 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Barrington, NS B0W1E0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel (Barrington, NS).
