It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Garfield Williams of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Lydgate, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Samuel and Ellen Grace Williams; his son Glenn Jeffery; and his siblings, Carl, Larkin, Stella (Belong), Bethalia (Smith) and Elina (Thomas).

He is survived by: his wife Betty Rae (Buchanan) of Shelburne; his daughter Kelsie Lynn; his sister Charlotte "Sally" (Grovestine); his granddaughter Meaghan Downey (Oliver); his grandson-in-law Chikeia (Downey); and his great grandchildren, Lestat, Eerina and Ahmyus.
