Ivy Pauline Swaine Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivy Pauline Swaine of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Nickerson and Ella Nickerson (Smith); her husband Merle; her daughter Rosalie; her siblings, Mervin, Irwin, Glendon and Norma Dugas; and her uncle Wilbert Smith (Bibbie).

She is survived by: her children, Linda, Kevin (Wanda) of Shag Harbour and Darrell (Sarah) of Shag Harbour; her grandchildren, Lisa Helin, Carla Moulaison-Hurlburt, Jeffery, Jeremy Moulaison, Julie Muise, Shawn, Troy d'Entremont, David, Travis, Danny and Trevor Swaine; and her sister-in-law Crystal Nickerson. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Guiding Light Baptist Church, Roseway Manor, or a charity of choice.
