It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Bernard LaPierre of Shad Bay, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mona Jean Frizzell LaPierre and Edward Alban LaPierre; and his brothers, John and Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Chris (Vonda), Tony (Tracy), Cathy Petrie (Joseph), Peter (Barb) and Jim (Liza); his sisters, Mona LaPierre and Rhoda MacNeill; and his grandchildren, Colin, Evan, Gabrielle, Austin, Joseph, Natasha, Nicole, Tyler, Nikyla, Christian and Marshall. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Campaign Life NS, Covenant House, Hope Cottage, or Soul's Harbor Rescue Mission.
