He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sr. Turple and Helen Turple (Cyr); his son Johnny; and his siblings, Janet and Hugh.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Turple (England); his brothers, Leonard and Lester; and his children, Vernon Jr. (Darlene), Marilyn (Eric), Kevin, Bonnie Turple (Robert), Andrew (Jenna) and Holly.
