He was predeceased by: his parents, James MacKenzie and Hazel MacKenzie (Morrison). He is survived by: his children, Cindy (Adam) and Kenny (Dawn); his granddaughter Teagan; and his siblings, Elaine (John), Bruce (Cathy) and Raymond (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
