He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Henry (Cissy) and Charles Henry (Bunker) of Scotchtown; his mother-in-law Anne Deruelle (Feit); and his brother-in-law Michael Deruelle. He is survived by: his wife Leona Henry (Deruelle); his daughter Juanita (Nathan Parris); his granddaughters, Lilly and Cari; his siblings, George Henry of Kentville, Debbie of Alberta and Arlene of New Brunswick; his siblings-in-law, Skip Bewsher, Leo Deruelle (Margaret), Stephen Deruelle (Joanne), Cathy Hailes (Rob), Pauline Morrison, Darlene Cormack (Chris), Anita Davis (Art) and Marjorie Deruelle; his daughter Candace; his siblings, Rosie Kendig (Buddy), Trina Bewsher, Delores Hickey (Jim), Rhodina Burns, Charlie and Eddie (Germaine); and also Jerry McEachern.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLellan Funeral Home (3188 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4K4). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Parish Church of St. Leonard Mount Carme (3180 Mt Carmel Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4E4). A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Remembrance & Fellowship (495 Smith St, New Waterford, NS B1H4K4).
