He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gottwald and Margaret Gottwald (Smith); and his brother John 'Gooks'. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, DJ (Julie), Gail (Billy) and Amanda (Tim); his grandchildren, Britney (Trey), Dakota (Hannah), Jessi, Trace, Breann, Ryder, Landon and Layton; his great grandchild Rowan; and his brothers, Jimmy (Shirley), Angus, Michael (Margaret Ann) and George (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
