It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Gottwald (Scotchtown, Nova Scotia), born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gottwald and Margaret Gottwald (Smith); and his brother John 'Gooks'. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, DJ (Julie), Gail (Billy) and Amanda (Tim); his grandchildren, Britney (Trey), Dakota (Hannah), Jessi, Trace, Breann, Ryder, Landon and Layton; his great grandchild Rowan; and his brothers, Jimmy (Shirley), Angus, Michael (Margaret Ann) and George (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Danny's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
