It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emile Maillet (Saulnierville, Nova Scotia), born in Meteghan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Maillet and Marie Maillet (Deveau); his wife Alma; and his siblings, John, Gerald, Willard, Thérèse and Alvina.

He is survived by: his sons, Jerry (Alberta), Ricky (Bangor), Kevin (Helen), Steven (Brenda), Jamie (Alberta) and Jason (Marlene); his siblings, Lewis (Laura), Alice Thibodeau and Rachel Comeau (Delmar); his grandchildren, Cory, Stacy, Christopher, Colin, Nicole, Luke, Justin and Chad; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Brooklyn, Lilou, Mélodie, Ava, Asha, Aubrey and Jake.
