We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2019, at the age of 94, Donald Edward McGrath (Sambro, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley McGrath and Isabella McGrath; and his sister Frances Short. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Gregory (Pamela), Bruce, Alan, Daniel (Colleen) and Stephen (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Brendan, Bradley, Amy, Alyson, Zoe, Morgan and Calum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James United Church, 3811 Old Sambro Road, Sambro, NS B3V 1G2, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
