He was predeceased by: his mother Velma Rines (Singer); his son Jason; and his sister Joan Marlene. He is survived by: his father William Rines; his son Brian (Jennifer Chaisson); his grandchildren, Douglas Chaisson and Jaylyn Rines; his daughter-in-law Nadine Watson; and his siblings, Helen Barron (Jim) of Truro, Gail Rines of Calgary, Wayne (Kathy) of Shubenacadie, Merlin (Debbie) of Rawdon, David of Riverside Corner, Ronald of Riverside Corner and Randall of Calgary. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
