He is survived by: his parent Jessie Melanson (Anderson); his wife Jean; his son David Melanson; his stepchildren, Betty Weatherbee (Tim), Doug Spencer (Lynette) and Cathy Canning (Paul); his stepgranddaughter Olivia Canning; his stepgreat-grandson Hudson Canning; and his brother Douglas.
