He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Carl Burton; his son Kyle; his siblings, Carl Jr. "Buster" (Donna) of Pictou, Aulds Cove of Pictou, Billy (Patsy) of Pictou, Preston (Lori) of Pictou, Garfield (Kathy), Brian (Threasa), Joan Richards (late Eldred) of Pictou, Shirley Landry (John "Theo") of Pictou and Darlene Fraser (Donnie) of Pictou; his pet Ruby; and his siblings, Larry "Sonny" and Jean Doiron. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations in Russell's memory may be made to Palliative Care, Aberdeen Hospital.
