It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Matheson of River John, Nova Scotia, born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matheson and Diane Matheson (Elliot). He is survived by: his close friend Tammy Fraser; his children, Hayden, Hunter and Shaelyn Matheson; his sisters, Anne Marie Langille (Randy) and Tammy Matheson (Kevin Arbuckle); his nephews, Cory, Justin, Alan and Shane; his niece Shelby; his grandmother Viola Johnson; his uncle Fraser Johnson (Darlene); and his aunts, Patti Malyk (Ron), Mary Ellen Johnson (Bob) and Marilyn Moffat. He is also survived by 3 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews.
