She was predeceased by: her parents, Aileen Jones and Arthur Jones of Halifax; her brothers, Ron Jones and David Jones; and her son-in-law Dennis Drover of Hodges Cove.

She is survived by: her husband John Crichton of River John, NS; her children, Alison Drover of Labrador City, NL, Jenni Crichton of Kamloops, BC and Johnny Crichton (Nicole) of Kamloops, BC; her siblings, Carol Brewer (Keith), Barbara Meade (Gerry), Evelyn LaHaut (Clarence), Gwynn Bedford (Bill) and Laurie Jones (Kate); and her sister-in-law Nora Jones.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that any gifts be directed to the Alzheimer's Society or the Willow Lodge Foundation.
