It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maurice William Wilson (River Hebert, Nova Scotia), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice H. Wilson and Hazel Wilson (Hoeg); his brother Mark Wilson; his grandparents, Lawson Hoeg (Violet Vance) and Havelock Wilson (Addie Hape); and his aunts and uncles, Freda Johnson (Jimmy), Geneva Cole (Ray), Isabel Miller (Fred), Donna Melanson, Ismael Wilson, Allison Wilson, Delbert Wilson (Jessie), Kenny Wilson, Earl Hoeg (Marion) and Manny Hoeg.
He is survived by: his wife Susan (Brine); his son Jason Wilson (Janet) of Dartmouth; his siblings, Angela Nuttall (Glendon McGillivray) of River Hebert, Malcolm Wilson of Amherst, Gary Doucet (Carol Anne) of Amherst and Mike Doucet (Chantal) of Edmonton, AB; his aunts, Jean Joel and Flora Doucet (Cletus); his uncle Ralph Melanson; and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Brian, Steven, Trevor, Nicholas, Christine, Stanley, Daniel, Amanda, Mike and Nicole.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the visitations for Maurice will be a scheduled event and visitors are asked to call Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, NS, 902-667-9906 to reserve their time for visiting on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm.
Donations may be made in Maurice's memory to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
