Douglas Henry Rector Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Henry Rector of River Hebert, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris "Tart" Rector and Zella Rector (Smith). He is survived by: his close friend Laurie Cluney; his daughter Janette Morris (Gerry) of Yellowknife, NWT; his granddaughters, Sara and Sydney; his son Davey Rector (Tina); his granddaughter Chloe; his great grandchildren, Bella, Jace and Eli; his brother David Rector (Bonnie); his niece Kendra; his sister Debbie Fraser (Sam); and his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Adam. He is also survived by children and Rodney (Becky) and children.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Doug's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Firefighters Burn Treatment Society, Raising the Roof or Bella Beats Dance Society.
