He is survived by: his children, Blair (Shauna), Angele Tassone (Vince), Marina Burke of Campbell River, BC, Ramona Burke (Roland), Ottawa and Kara-Leigh Burke; his grandchildren, Maria, Adrianna, Olivia, Megan, Bhreagh, Brendan, Aidan and Ena; his siblings, Theresa Landry, Irene McLaughlin, Mary Burke, Emily Harding (Fred), Ottawa, John, Richard and Petawawa; and his sister-in-law Annie Landry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or charity of choice.
