Sir Alexander Emslie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sir Alexander Emslie (Pugwash, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 14, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Christina Emslie (McBay); his son Christopher; his brother Murdoch Emslie; his son-in-law John Miles; and also, Lexie Canning and Sheila Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Sheona Miles of Folkstone, UK, Leslie Emslie (Cindy), Rosemary O'Connor (Dave), Logie Emslie (Tammy) and Sine Darragh Collingwood (Glenn); and his sister Nancy Huston of Pugwash. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund; High Crest Manor Activity Fund or any charity.
