He is survived by: his wife Helen Mattinson (MacAulay); his children, Ivan Mattinson (Marcia) of Lawrencetown, HRM, Bill Mattinson, Ronnie Mattinson (Mary Ann), Carol Dotten (Eric), Kelly Parker (Steven), Bonnie Parker (Jeff), Thai Lam (Thuy), Brenda Walker (Mike) and Upper Nappan; his grandchildren, John (Sabrina), Melissa (Tyler), Rhonda, Lezlee, Felicia, Bradley (Rebecca), Jason, Joe (Tara), Ben, Marie (Jason), Matthew (Haylee), Alex (Véronique), Shelby (Adam), Evan, Kyle (Carly) and Jake; and his siblings, Glen Mattinson (Sara) of Peterborough, ON. and Thelma Colbourne (Heber) of West Pugwash, NS..
