She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie MacDonald and Pearl MacDonald (Pipes); her husband Donn; her son Adair; and her siblings, Elva Black, Rod, Ken and Stewart.

She is survived by: her children, Beverley Fraser (Ross) and Dwayne (Sara Jewell); her daughter-in-law Joan Mattinson; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Margaret Mattinson, Donn, Peter Fraser, Jason and Amanda Mattinson. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0).
