He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Greta Smith (Peers); his close friend Darlene Ripley; and his siblings, Mary Lou, Bill, Dolly, Dorothy and David.
He is survived by: his son Trevor of Fredericton, N. B.; his brother Henry Smith (Karen); and his brother-in-law Cecil McIver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
