With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ryan of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, born in Malagash, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Treen and Annie Treen (Stevens); her husband Layton; her son Frank; her grandson Mark; and her siblings, Harold, Howard, Cecelia MacNeil and Grace Succamore.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Brownell of Moncton, NB, Kevin (Diane Chandler) of Campbell River, BC, Larry (Lola) of Nepean, ON and Perry of Conns Mills, NS.; her grandchildren, Ian, Carrie, Shannon, Scott, Kris, Daniel, Kevin, Jennifer, Jillian and Thomas; her sisters, Anna Farnsworth of Campbell River, BC, Bertha Langille of Tatamagouche, NS and Jean Speakman of Tatamagouche, NS; her daughter-in-law Sharon Linkletter-Ryan; and also Fran Ryan. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
