Carl Purdy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Purdy (Pugwash, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 7, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Purdy and Anne Atkinson (Molloy); his brother Patrick Purdy; and his nephew Quintin Purdy. He is survived by: his stepfather Willis Atkinson; his siblings, Sandra Gallant (Lloyd) of Summerside, PEI, Michael Purdy, Ottawa, Ont and Susan Hanlon Pugwash (Darren Lethbridge); his nieces and nephews, Sandy Gallant (Jennifer), Tony Gallant (Linda), Jason Gallant (Kelly), Amanda Desroches (Mitchell), Devon Hanlon (Taylor) and Morgan Purdy; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shania, Jadyn, Ethan, Lily, Jaxson and Sophia. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Due to Covid 19, final arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital in Pugwash or to a charity of your choice.
