He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Scott and Ella Scott (Lamrock); his siblings, Everett, Rene and Lillian; and his granddaughter Melissa.

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Newell); and his sons, Scotty (Tonya), Rene (Georgina) and Raymond (Jayne). He is also survived by daughter April (Gerry), 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, numerous extended family members, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, since Stanley was never really a flowers kind of guy, you are all invited to make a donation in his memory to either the Nova Scotia Guides Association or to the Yarmouth SPCA.
