He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Buster" Atkinson and Velma Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Atkinson (Schoneveld); his siblings, Roxann, June, Stephanie, Darlene, Tracy, Greg and Brian; his cousins, Bonnie, Patrick and Timothy; and his stepsons, Jimmie and Joey Atwood. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
