He is survived by: his brother Thomson Bros Painting; his granddaughter Melinda; his wife Vera; his children, Susan, Roger, Timothy, Tammy (Tim) of Black River, NS, Peter (Linda Thomson) of Canaan, NS and Blythe Froh (Ian); his grandchildren, Liam and Katherine; his daughter Aimee Desiatnyk (Ryan); his grandchildren, Ella, Aliyah and Roger (Brendalee Thomson) of Port Williams, NS; his son Shane Thomson; his grandchildren, Deborah and Ann-Marie; his son Matthew (Chelsey Kadey); his grandchildren, Serena, Summer, Molly, Marcie and Timothy (Rose Thomson) of Port Williams, NS; his daughter Melinda; his granddaughter Kayla Comeau (Colin); his great grandchildren, Alley, Hunter and Maci; his grandchildren, Isaac, Carter and Charlee-Anne Pineo; his sons, Jason (Jamie) and Nathan (Katelin Croft); his grandchildren, Xander and Gannon; his daughters, Rebecca MacLellan (CJ Hodgson) and Dominique Thomson; his grandchildren, Elliemae and Jackson; and his son Kyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
