Stuart Bruce left this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Griffin and Edith Griffin (Conley); his wife Audrey (Messem); and his brother Lesley. He is survived by: his children, Adam, Belinda (Jason Strickland) and Bethlyn Hird (Trevor); his siblings, Irvin, Gloria (Davidson) and Donna (Leopold); and his grandchildren, Elliot, Aurora and Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Fox Hill Cemetery.
