He was predeceased by: his parents, William Graves and Florence Graves (Lockhart); his brother Tim; his sister-in-law Madeleine; and his mother-in-law Judy Pietersma.

He is survived by: his spouse Kim (Pietersma); his daughters, Stacie and Kelly; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Brittney, Ryan, Michael and Keira; his siblings, Henry (Darlene), Wayne (Mary), Perry (Kim), Carolyn Laybolt (Fred) and Paula Morine (Eric); his sister-in-law Debbie Graves; and his father-in-law John Pietersma.
